An organization dedicated to the preservation of the culture and economic viability of the the Peacock Isles. Via a grant from the SimNation, the sim Historic society operated several businesses and grants $10,000 to each adult wishing to open a business. This grant is a one time benefit and does not apply to Legacy sims. Legacy sims, are reserved land for their use.
The SHPS also buys found antiquities from college students in the archeology internship at PII to preserve the culture of the islands.

SimCity Astronomy Club
Sim City offers auxillary membership in the Astronomy club to residents of the Islands. They offer $500 to any resident dicovering stars, planets or constellations in the night sky. They do not require dues but ask that each member participate in sky watching each year and report any findings to the Astronomy Club.
