Charles Zephyr Personal Journal

Charles Zephyr

Year 6
Laela gave the bakery another good review. Though while she was reviewing I made a faux pas with Talin. I was joking with him when I needed to reserve a wedding cake for him and Bea. Apparently they stopped dating early in the year. I didn't ask what happened, don't want to delve too far into my sister personal life, or I might just have to burn out my mind's eye.
Edwards helping out. Looks a little lonely since Alrick went off to school, though he seems to come by whenever he can. Edward needs a girlfriends or something. I on the other hand am doing quite well in that department. Well, passable. Danielle is always an option for a fun date, and I've been wooing this woman named Brittney, but she like to take things slow. I can't tell you how many times shes rejected a simple advance. Ok for making out, but still! I met another lovely lady by the name of Marie and got her number.

Year 5

Business is going really good. It's even getting hard to restock since I've got so many customers to tend to. Though I like tending to some of them better than others. I dated a tough girl named Danielle Lillard for a while. Woohoo with her is always fun, but lately I've been eyeing an athletic girl named by the name of Brittney Wendland. We've been talking alot and when I mentioned that Edward was foul tempered without a TV, she gave us one that her friend was marketing.

Year 4

I added canapes to the bakery as a seasonal summer treat. When Laela came in for some I asked her out. Silly me I forgot the only place to go is downtown on another island! We went at night so I didn't have to deal with seeing the water all around.

We danced, drank and walked over to Shelby's for a snack. Leala thought she was on vacation but it turns out she wasn't.

So we found somewhere else to be alone. Not sure that elevator is ever going to be the same. Woohoo!

Year 3

I've been working to get a bronze register badge so the drawer wouldn't hit me in the gut ever again. And I've been talking to Laela Catnip alot. She writes a fair number of the articles for me and she extremely...hot, like 3 bolts of lightning in a row hot.

I went into the bathroom to think about her a bit more privately and discovered by son was already doing something similar.
I'm still not quite sure what he was doing with that loofa, but needless to say, we were of course both mortified.

I'm glad the business is doing well but lately I've been thinking alot about women. About a lot of women actually. I've always wanted to be one of those playboys that had any woman they wanted and a new one each night.

Year 2

We got a great review for the Bakery thanks to a beautiful young woman, Miss Laela Catnip. She sure is Catnip, Meeoow. I worked overtime to impress her and did get a bronze sales badge, but boy did I pay for it later. I'm glad no one but the security camera saw that!

Year 1
We just came here to get away for a while. Evey wasn't doing well with her rehab. I can't believe I missed what she had brought to the Islands with her. Too nervous about the flight, well not the flight, but all that water under me. Daniel was taking her the hospital when the plane crashed. Something mechanical by the sound of it, I wished he let me tinker with it before he left. As odd as seems she was the great parent, a drug addict, but a good mom too. Edward's acting all tough, cause he thinks it's what a man would do. Typical 12 year old.

If I'm staying in my parents old house the least I can do is get a job, only there aren't hardly any jobs at all. I am not going to the mainland for a job, too much water. (Yeah I know, an Island is a hell of a place to be when you're hydrophobic. Can't help where you're born.) So I opened up the Sunshine bakery and artist studio. Bea and I used to go in all the time when we were kids and order berry pie and then make something to take home with us.

I made a few pumpkin treats and red gelatin plates. The rest I ordered from a small bakery on the mainland. I let Edward go up and craft to his heart's content and I'm selling the stuff too. I could hardly beleive I won the LeTourneou Prize for New Businesses! It was the same old business from 20 years ago, now it's just open for business again. I'll take credit for it if they want me too.
